ILINDEN FAIR AT LAGAT

On 2^nd August 2014 will be the annual Ilinden Fair held at Lagat, where among other things blessed Kurban soup will be offered to the guests at the area known as the Walnuts.  A good mood will be maintained by Rhodope bagpipes and songs, as well as local amateur folk groups. The highlight ofthe program will be, as usual, the horse racing. Several races with different conditions and rules will be taking place, including a competition for horse and carts which will intrigue the participants as well as the spectators. There will be plenty on offer for all to see and enjoy.
